About

I was a keen artist as a child and teenager before going to university, working in logisitcs and doing nothing artistic for 20 years.

Returning to painting in the last 5 years I am now producing a range of abstracts and landscapes inspired by the local Chiltern scenery and my love of the Cornish coast. 

I am particularly interested in portraying the energy and atmosphere of the landscape whilst abstracting it enough to leave ambiguity and uncertainty over what is sea, sky and land.

I am a keen cyclist - especially enjoying mountain biking around the Chilterns, and I also love getting down to Cornwall for some surfing! 

Commissions and Studio visits welcome. I normally have a good stock of finished and in
progress work to view.
